Dressed in a costume made out of colourful textile strips, Jarramplas represents a cattle thief. He comes out to the streets at the end of January. To punish him the village population throws him vegetables until his surrender.

We take a short walk through to the top of the small village castle and down to the valley.
The network of typical houses and watermills as been recovered and now works as a museum showing us the path from raw wheat to baked bread. Penha Garcia.
